Corrie & Rod’s Western Chic Ranch Wedding
A ranch in Miami? Yes indeed, there is such a thing! The Davie Ranch is just a few minutes from downtown Miami, and is where Corrie and Rodrigo decided to have their wedding. The concept was completely their own. All the decorations were made by hand and the dinnerware selected individually from various thrift and consignment shops, giving it a quaint vintage feel. Corrie also hand made her dress, with shoes by John Fluevog.
Katie & Alberto’s California Ranch Wedding
I gotta say, this wedding was a photographer’s dream! It took place at Tejada Vines Ranch in Clearlake, California and was catered by Outstanding In The Field. Having known Katie as the Editor In Chief of Sunset Magazine, a client who I’ve had for years, I was quite excited when she asked me to photograph her wedding. It was everything I would have expected, beautifully decorated and styled, the ceremony took place in the courtyard of the Ranch. Afterwards the guests moved down the huge yard where tables where lined up in a curving S pattern to mimic a flowing river (Katie and Alberto’s favorite hobby being fly fishing). Each place setting was also labeled by the name of a river they would like to someday fish. After the delicious meal (that was all cooked over an open fire) was consumed and the toasts given, everyone went back up to the courtyard for what amounted to an outdoor dance party, the dj spinning 80′s classics as well as a mix of tunes that that got people moving well past my bedtime.
Eric and Lori Brooklyn Bike Ride Engagement Session
Had a great time last week with Eric and Lori! It was a beautiful late afternoon in Brooklyn. We stopped for cookies and root beer floats in Williamsburg, before heading to Kent Street along the water. They were so much fun and so photogenic. Afterwards went for tacos and margaritas at La Superior (best tacos in Brooklyn!)
Corrie and Rod’s Miami Western Chic Ranch Wedding

Sarah + Reed. Brooklyn, NY.
Sarah and Reed are friends of mine. Both very talented graphic designers who live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. When they asked me if I wanted to photograph their wedding I was not only honored, but delighted! Sarah had been telling me for months about their plans to get married outdoors in a park near the river, to ride a tandem bicycle to the reception at Enid’s (a popular bar and brunch spot), and to hand make 1000′s of paper flowers with her and Reed’s favorite saying printed on each. The final results, of hours and hours of hard work, was purely spectacular, and so much fun!
